My 5-year-old is in a full unicorn phase right now, so this scratch art book was an instant hit. The colors that show through are super vivid and she loves revealing the “secret rainbow pictures.” We’ve taken it on two road trips and it kept her busy the whole time. The little stylus holder is a small thing but honestly so helpful.
This book traveled with us on a 4-hour flight, and I was shocked how long my daughter stayed zoned in. She loved making “sparkle trails” behind the unicorns. I liked that the pages didn’t make a mess in our seats. A lifesaver for travel.

My twins are 6 and 7, and this has officially become their “quiet time activity.” They sit together and compare their unicorn scenes like little artists. The stickers are a cute touch, and there are plenty to keep them busy. Great buy.
I got this for my kiddo who loves all things princess. She loved scratching away the black layer, but I do wish the book had just a few more sheets. She finished it in two afternoons. Still, she had a blast and keeps showing off her creations.
Huge win for our house. My daughter gets easily frustrated with crafts that are too complicated, but this was simple enough for her to do on her own. She proudly hung up every scratch page on her bedroom wall. The colors underneath are way prettier than I expected.
My 4-year-old enjoyed this, and it kept her entertained, but the stylus could’ve been a bit sturdier. She presses hard when she’s excited, and it left small dents on the tip. Still totally usable and still a fun product.
We took this set on a camping trip and it was perfect for downtime at the picnic table. My daughter loved decorating the magical backdrops with stickers after finishing her scratch pages. Nice screen-free option and really easy to pack.
Bought this as a birthday gift for a 6-year-old, and she immediately started scratching out her favorite unicorn page. Her mom texted me later saying she spent the entire afternoon working through the book. Definitely gifting this again.
As a teacher, I’m always looking for quiet activities for early finishers, and this scratch art book was a hit with my students. They love the reveal of the bright colors. I might pick up more to keep in my classroom.
My son (yes, son!) loved this just as much as his sister. The castle scene was his favorite, and he really liked designing his own sticker art afterward. Happy to see both kids enjoying something creative together.
This was a cute set and my daughter liked it, but I felt like the stickers scratched a little too easily. She made them work, but they’re delicate. The actual pictures were great though, and she loved the rainbow reveal.
My 3-year-old needed a bit of help holding the stylus, but once she got the hang of it she didn’t want to stop. She kept saying, “Look! Magic colors!” Very sweet. It’s messy-free and great for little hands learning fine motor skills.
Gave this to my niece over the holidays and she dove right in. She ended up making a whole “art gallery” in the living room. The scenes really pop once scratched. Really fun activity for artsy kids.
Absolutely adorable set. My daughter loved the enchanted forest backdrop and the unicorn sticker sheet the most. She carried this book around the house for a week straight, showing everyone her artwork. Worth every penny.
This book is super cute, but I think it’s best for kids on the younger side. My 8-year-old liked it but finished everything pretty quickly and wanted more pages. Good for travel, but maybe add more sheets for older kids.
My daughter’s OT recommended scratch art for fine motor practice, and this set fit the bill perfectly. The wooden stylus is easy for her to control, and the pictures give her a sense of accomplishment. She smiles every time she reveals a colorful unicorn tail.
We brought this to a family dinner to keep our 5-year-old entertained, and it worked like a charm. She was completely absorbed scratching out her princess scene. No mess on the table, no screen needed. A parent’s dream.
My little cousin spent the entire weekend working on this book, and she especially loved designing her own stickers. I appreciated that the colors underneath weren’t dull—they’re super vibrant. Great quiet-time activity.
