My 2-year-old son has a minor speech delay, and these have been an absolute blessing. The photos are crisp and realistic rather than confusing cartoons, which helps him point and say the words. Thick and sturdy cardboard too!
Very impressed with how solid these cards feel. Toddlers naturally bend things, but these hold up remarkably well to rough handling. The split categories are fantastic for sorting games.
The flashcards themselves are beautiful, thick, and very engaging for my daughter. However, the outer storage box is made of pretty thin cardboard and ripped the very first day we tried to pack them away. Wish the box was sturdier.
Love the realistic images used on these double-sided cards. Perfect for our homeschool curriculum. My 3-year-old enjoys sorting the farm animals away from the underwater ones.
The cards are nicely made, but some of the chosen insects and underwater animals are a little obscure for the 18-month target age group. It can get overwhelming. Still decent quality, but we have to skip a few cards for now.
We bring a few categories along in the diaper bag for restaurant trips. It keeps my toddler quiet and occupied without needing to hand over a phone. The fonts are huge and easy to read.
My twins love these cards. The size is exactly right for them to grasp and look at comfortably. Colors are very vibrant and true to real life animals.
The content is fantastic and very educational. My only critique is that since they are plastic-free matte cardboard, they aren't fully wipeable if juice or sticky fingers get to them. Keep them away from snacks!
Bought this for a 2nd birthday party gift and it was a massive hit. The packaging is premium and the educational games added inside make it much more interactive than standard flashcards.
I specifically looked for flashcards with actual photos and not stylized drawings so my kid knows what real animals look like. Skillmatics delivered perfectly. Highly recommend.
