Bought this for a 6-hour drive to Grandma's house. It completely saved my sanity. My 5-year-old sat in his car seat scratching away at the animal pages and didn't ask for an iPad once. The built-in holder is super convenient.
My daughter absolutely loves animals so this was an instant hit. The scratch-off sticker feature is very unique compared to other books we have bought. She loved making the wild safari scene look perfect.
The quality of the scratch paper is top-notch. The black layer comes off easily without needing too much hand pressure, and the colors underneath are beautiful and bright. Great for fine motor practice.
The concept is awesome and my kids loved revealing the farm animals, but just be aware it leaves little black scratch shavings behind. Best used on a tray or a table that is easy to wipe down afterwards.
Gave this to my niece for her 4th birthday and her mom texted me the next day saying she wouldn't put it down. The animal backdrops are beautiful and the two wooden styluses meant her older brother could play along too.

My kids loved making the underwater scene look colorful. It comes with two wooden styluses which is fine, but they easily get misplaced in our house. Would love if it came with a couple spares!
Brought this on an airplane for my 6-year-old daughter. Since it doesn't involve any markers, crayons, or loose pieces that roll off the tray table, it was the ultimate mess-free travel toy. Highly recommend.
The animal themes are adorable and very well thought out. The background pages are durable and thick, so they don't tear when the kids paste the stickers down. Excellent independent play activity.
It is getting harder to find toys that compete with screen time, but my 7-year-old spent two solid hours working on the wild animal section. It's very relaxing and satisfying even for adults to watch.
My 5-year-old loved revealing the hidden animals, but he pressed down a bit too hard and the tip of the wooden stylus got dull quickly. Had to sharpen it with a regular pencil sharpener to keep it going.
Most scratch books are just pages you scratch and you're done. This one lets you scratch out custom stickers and then arrange them on the backdrops. That added step kept my son interested for much longer.
I can hand this to my 4-year-old while I am cooking dinner and know she will be safely occupied. It's completely odorless and the stickers stick very well to the glossy backdrop pages.
Perfect level of difficulty for a 4 or 5 year old. Not so hard that they get frustrated, but detailed enough to keep their attention focused. The underwater scenes are beautiful.
The art is gorgeous and my kids had a blast. My only small complaint is that younger kids might pull the scratch stickers too fast and tear them before placing them on the backdrop. Just needs a little patience!

The animal illustrations are so cheerful and bright. My kids loved mixing the farm animals with the wild animals on different backdrops to make funny scenes. Will definitely buy the other themes.
