We had a blast with this game last weekend! My kids, ages 8 and 10, actually learned some fun state facts without even realizing they were “learning.” I love that it’s quick and easy to play, so we could squeeze in a few rounds between dinner and bedtime. Definitely a new family favorite.
Fun for the family! My husband and I found ourselves debating state facts we thought we knew. My 9-year-old joined in easily, and it’s neat that everyone can contribute. I do wish the cards were a bit sturdier; ours bent slightly after a few games.

Really liked the idea and layout, but I found some of the clues a little too tricky for my 7-year-old. He still had fun, but it wasn’t as smooth as I expected for his age. Still, a solid game overall.
This game is perfect for quick family game nights. Easy to learn and the bonus tokens add a nice strategic element. My kids are always excited to roll the die and guess their states. We’ve been playing almost every evening since we got it.
Great mix of fun and learning. I used it in my classroom with 3rd graders, and they were surprisingly engaged. It’s not too long, which is perfect for keeping their attention. Would have loved a few more variations in the cards to keep it fresh after multiple plays.
Honestly, I bought this hoping for more of a “travel adventure” feel, but it’s really more of a trivia game. That said, it’s educational and my kids enjoy the challenge, so I still think it’s worth it. Just not as hands-on as I imagined.
The game arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Setup was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. My kids loved being “state detectives” and racing to collect the cards. A fun way to sneak in some learning.
I like that it’s competitive without being overly aggressive. My kids are ages 8 and 11, and both loved strategizing with the bonus tokens. It’s also a good way to reinforce memory and recall of facts about each state.
This game made our road trip planning even more fun. We played rounds in the hotel room with my niece and nephew, and everyone laughed a lot. The map is helpful and visually appealing. Only wish it had a few more mini-challenges for older kids.
We tried Scout It Out on a rainy afternoon, and it was a hit. The die roll element keeps it exciting and random, which my kids loved. I will say, though, if you don’t know many state facts already, adults might feel left out sometimes.
Perfect for 7+ kids. My daughter really loved guessing states and learning new facts. Some of the cards are a bit too easy for adults, but it’s fun to play as a family and see who can guess first.
Fun game, but it can feel repetitive after a few rounds. The kids still enjoy it, and I like that it’s educational, but it could use more variety in gameplay to keep it interesting over time.
We had a small family night with this game, and everyone laughed a lot trying to guess the states. My only minor complaint is that some of the cards have tiny print, so adults with older eyes might struggle a little. Otherwise, very engaging.
Scout It Out has been a pleasant surprise. My 8-year-old is usually bored with board games, but he stayed engaged the entire time. The strategy with bonus tokens makes it more than just trivia. Highly recommend for families who want a mix of fun and learning.
The game is very easy to set up and play. I like that it’s not overly complicated and can be played multiple times in one evening. Some of the clues are a bit challenging for younger kids, but that’s part of the fun.
I bought this for my classroom, and it’s been a hit. Kids are excited to participate and actually learn without realizing it. The only thing I’d improve is including a timer to keep the pace brisker.
My kids and I love this game! It’s quick, engaging, and the map really helps them visualize where the states are. The only downside is that if you play too much, some of the trivia can become predictable.
Overall a fun game for the family. My 7-year-old struggled with some of the harder clues, but that gave us a chance to talk about the states more. Would have liked a slightly bigger map for easier reference.
